Work/Life Balance: Fact or Fiction?


Balance.


How do you feel about it? Work/life balance... 💻 🤷‍♀️🏡 do you think a healthy balance exists? Or is it healthier to accept that it’ll never totally be equal? It seems to be a popular debate/conversation lately. What are YOUR thoughts 💭 ?


Whichever opinion you possess, I think it’s always healthy to practice being present 🧘‍♂️ . It’s so easy to get distracted, but placing your focus on the here and NOW will help you become better able to put your “all” into whatever your work life, home life and beyond 🙌 !


A helpful “tool” to help you focus on the task at hand is time blocking and batch working. Instead of sitting down to your computer 👩‍💻 with 100 things to do and no idea what to do first, sit down with a PLAN.


👉 Create a list of what needs to be done 📝

👉 Decide how much time you will spend on each task ⏰

👉 Eliminate distractions 🚫 ((stop the scrolling, turn off notifications, TV, etc.))


Above all, remember that you don’t have to do it all alone!! Accept help when it’s offered and give yourself GRACE everyday 🙏💗 . Delegate tasks when you can! Seek guidance from those who have been there! Stop 🛑 saying no to offers of help 😉 . Open yourself up to find more peace and grow in your relationships!
