Honestly, itās way easier to write posts that speak to a wide audience. āļø I mean everyone wants to look and feel healthier, right? šŖ So sometimes we can be super generic in our content instead of really getting specific about who weāre trying to reach and work with. š¤³
But if youāre talking to EVERYONE, youāre not connecting to ANYONE š so weāve got to have a specific person or group of people in mind that we want to work with so that when we sit down to write our content, weāre speaking directly to them. š
So how do we know who we want to work with? š¤
If youāre struggling š£ with nailing down your niche, Iāve found a great way to get started is to work with people who were just like you. š¤
Who had the same struggles you had before you first started on this journey.
Who were tempted by the same things, who wanted the same things, who lived the same life.
Think of who you were a month or two before you started your journey.
What would you say to her? What was said to you? What was the last straw? What was the final push that got you going? š
Speak to the past version of yourself. š£ There are men and women out there who can totally identify with where you were because theyāre at that point right now and they need to know that change is possible for them. Show them where you were, what changed, and how you can help them! š
Talk about why YOU do the work that you do! šāāļø What personal transformation did you have that led you to this business? Why health coaching? Why not something else? How has this work changed your life? We hear so often to talk about the results our people get, but what about YOUR results and the changes that happened in YOUR heart? š„°
š Here are some other important questions to ask yourself!
#1) WHAT is it that makes YOU unique and different?
#2) WHY do people come to your page and WHAT do they look forward to?
#3) WHY are people attracted to YOU and the message/service/products you provide?
#4) WHAT do the people closest to you say about you?
š Then take a quick self-audit of your page:
#1) WHAT overall message do you see in the first 10 posts on your page?
#2) WHAT are your people engaging with the most?
Also, you will want to think about what does your niche really want? What is getting in the way of what he/she wants? Are there internal ideas and beliefs stopping them? How do these beliefs make them feel? How do you understand how they feel and what allows you to empathize with him/her? š«
Remember, nobody pays premium prices to solve general problems. ā Therefore, in your online business, you cannot charge high-ticket prices while trying to please the masses. You must zero in on your ideal client's deep problems. š
Who do you help, what is the problem they face, what is the positive outcome and HOW do you make that happen?! We hope these questions help you to dial in on YOUR people and to be able to write content with these thoughts and ideas in mind! āļø
