āI tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, āMove from here to thereā and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.ā Matthew 12:20
āIf you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, āBe uprooted and planted in the sea,ā and it will obey you.ā Luke 17:6
What is your āmountainā in life right now?
Finances?
Your clients?
Coaching?
Jealousy or competition?
Are you trying to āfixā it yourself, in your own strength? Is it working?
Have you ever done one of those team-building ātrust fallsā where you stand on something like a tree stump with your back to a bunch of people who are waiting to catch you? You fold your arms, lean back, and believe they wonāt let you land on the ground. Itās scary, right?
God wants our hearts. He has great plans to give you a hope and a future, not to harm you. He wants our eyes not on our āmountainā but on HIM. He is all-powerful and mighty to save. All He asks is for us to have faith the size of a mustard seed.
A mustard seed is about 1 millimeter, but can grow to a 30-foot bush. Itās small yet alive and growing. Just like our faith. Alive and growing. Almost invisible at first, it becomes more obvious over time. It changes because of its surroundings. Just like our faithā¦tested and stretched and we become mightier for the Kingdom.
Can you surrender your woes 100%? Itās a tall order. You must be humble. You must be willing. Itās a process of relying on The Creator HOURLY.
āDear Lord, I lost a client today. I trust you to help me through it.ā
āGod, being self-employed is unpredictable. Will you please conform me to Your image?
āHeavenly Father, Iām struggling with the balance of motherhood and career. Iām loyal to you and ask that you strengthen me.ā
Every dayās challenges are like those ātrust falls.ā All thatās asked is a faith based on quality, not quantity. The good news is, The Guy who catches you has nothing but love for you.
