Making Real Connections

Being successful in your coaching business is all about connecting. If you take the time to build genuine relationships, your customers and audience are more likely to come back to you over and over and recommend you to others! They will be your SUPER FANS! šŸ†


Hereā€™s some tips for creating those valuable customer connections:


  • Get personal. Ask them how their day is going and spark that conversation. And don't be afraid to show them who you are, what your life is like and what matters to you. āœØ


  • Ask questions about their specific health goals and where they might like see themselves in a month or two from now. Wellness is not one-size-fits-all and it's also not just about physical appearance. Ask them how they're feeling now and what could be improved. šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø


  • Show appreciation for your customers. You can do this through simple compliments, recognition, shoutouts, sending a small notecard or with small prizes & gifts. Check out our Instagram post here with some example challenger gift ideas! šŸ¤—


  • Ask for feedback or send out a short survey. See what could help your customers more and what could make you better as a coach! This will also let them know you are interested in them and want to do your best.





  • Make sure to follow up with them. Check back with them on how they're doing, how they're making progress towards those goals you've discussed and if there is anything else you could do to help. Every customer engagement experience is a chance for you to make them feel special. šŸ„°


  • Keep it original! There is a time and place for templates, but make it personal to you and for them. No one will feel connected with the copy and pasted ā€œhey girlā€ messages. šŸ˜‰


  • Go above and beyond! See an article that reminds you of a conversation you had? Share it with them! Let them know you listened, are thinking about them and truly want to help.





There is always room for making meaningful connections to not only boost your business but to also experience personal growth. You will earn your client's loyalty and improve overall morale.


Consider how you will generally interact with your challengers and prospective coaching clients. Be fully present, show up authentically, listen to them, show integrity, be empathetic and earn their trust! Give them a reason to sign up with YOU. šŸ’–
