We ride that struggle bus š sometimes, too! Getting people to interact with your account can be tricky. Everyone leads busy lives so it has to really catch their attention and tell them what to do! That's what call to actions are for. š
A CTA is an image or line of text that prompts your audience and clients to take action. CTA's are a super effective way to get your audience to take action and interact with your content. Try out different CTA's to see which ones work well and serve your audience. āļø
Hereās some calls-to-action (CTAs) ideas to help you get you going! š
1.) TAKE A POLL ON SOMETHING
š§ Ask them if they read, listen to, or watch their personal development. You can also direct them to your stories and ask them to vote on the poll over there too!
2.) ASK A THIS OR THAT QUESTION
š§ Give them simple āthis or thatā questions related to your post! If you were talking about your meal plan for the week š , ask them if theyāre team fruit or team veggie.
3.) ASK FOR AN EMOJI OR GIF
Invite them to leave a prayer hands emoji in the comments if theyāve connected with God today. You could also share something from your devotional and tell them to drop a gif if they can relate to it.
4.) ASK THEM TO RATE SOMETHING
š“ Tell them to rate their day, week, workout, mindset, sleep, etc. on a scale from 1-10. Share a personal photo on the topic along with your rating as well!
Any engagement is good ā just make sure itās related to something youāre talking about!

Other ways to get engagement and more comments on your posts:
1.) Engage with active accounts - Start interacting with other accounts and be patient. Eventually they will go to your posts and return the favor. If not, then it's okay move on! š
2.) Aim to get your comments pinned - Make sure when you're commenting on other active accounts that you're adding good value. If your comment gets pinned, it could bring lots of organic traffic to your page. š
3.) Keep it simple! - Make it easy for people to comment on your posts by asking a very quick answer question at the end of your caption. ā
4.) Make them laugh - People love humor and are more likely to engage with content that entertains them or makes them smile. š
5.) Posting time - Do you know the right time to post? ā± People aren't able to engage with you if they are not on at the time you post! Find your best posting times for a higher chance of them to interact. You can check out our blog post about that linked below. š

6.) Be genuine! - This may be a no brainer but it's a good reminder. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Being sincere will go a long way and your followers can truly get to know you. š„°
7.) Encourage conversation between followers - Ask them to answer questions and reply back to one other and connect. š¬
8.) Reply back to them quickly and ask another question - Make it a habit to answer comments as promptly as you can - especially during the first few minutes after you share a new post. ā°
9.) Avoid standard copy/paste phrases - Write comments that stand out, show your personality or add some other important information to the post. š„ø
10.) Not much time to reply? No worries! - It's okay to at least leave a simple "thank you!" or "this is great!" helps to acknowledge the people who took time out of their busy day to interact with your content. š
11.) Leverage current trends - Trendy topics generate interest and people love to engage with them and give their opinion. š¤©
12.) Leave off some of the info - You can share content that is deliberately missing some key points so people can add in their own two-cents. Like additional tips and ways to do something. š”
