5 Ways to make the New Year fruitful! 🍎🍊🍇

Congratulations, you just finished another year of being absolutely awesome!!

Without a doubt, you conquered fears, dismissed your comfort zone, and transformed lives.

Whew! Ready to do it all over again?!

Let's rock the new year with resolutions that actually have significance!

Here are 5 ideas for making the new year your best yet:

1. Schedule your quiet time with Jesus. Ideally, every day. Will you do this at dark thirty, or on your lunch break, after your last client? Seeking Him first has eternal value; everything else can wait.

2. Plan how many hours of family fun to have each week/month. Business hours tend to spill into family life, so push back and priorities your brood. Have a family meeting about activities to do over the next 12 months. Dream small with trips to the park and movies, then dream big with discussing adventures and traveling. Be sure to include date nights into your calendar.

3. How will you take care of yourself this year? We cannot pour from an empty cup, so what forms of relaxation and rest can go from dream to reality? Will this be daily, or will it be weekly? Which days will you exercise? It is not a luxury, so decide when you can go sit on the back porch with iced tea, or which days are best for a bubble bath, or which months deserve a massage.

4. Zero in on what to outsource. As an entrepreneur, free time is hard to find, so think about who can help you in the day-to-day tasks. Perhaps your family helps with household chores and meals. Maybe you find someone to clean your home. You can even order groceries online and have them delivered. When a team helps chaos become order, we have a mind at peace (and have the capacity for productivity and clarity of thought).

5. Assess your work situation. Are you prone to work too long at the office? Do meetings make you miss soccer games? Are you unable to get an actual lunch break? See if any tweaks are in order. Consider hiring a virtual assistant who shoulders the workload with you. Yes, work is important, but it is not THE most important.

You are already awesome, so no need to work on that this year! Let's be intentional about staying inspired, energetic, and content!
